Throughout our work in the industry, we have identified numerous small flaws, particularly in the design of kitchen accessories.

For instance, many traditional saya knife sheaths come with a wooden or synthetic pin to secure the blade. However, if the pin is lost, you would have to replace it or the saya becomes impractical. Additionally, commercially available saya options often have a poor fit, offer limited wood variety, and are crafted using machines rather than by hand.

At Brutal, we address these issues by hand making our sayas in Berlin, using the highest quality natural solid wood and incorporating a pinless design for our saya sheaths, ensuring your kitchen knives are securely held,
